Celebrating our 12-year anniversary!

Today marks 12 years since the launch of Calleo – the brainchild of our founder and Managing Director, Andrew Dean. With Andrew remaining at the helm of the business, Calleo Market and Sales Intelligence has experienced more than a decade of growth and meaningful partnerships in Africa and abroad.

With his background and expertise in Retail Banking, Payments, Information Technology and B2B Sales and Marketing, Andrew first launched Calleo as a research and consulting firm targeted at the payments and banking sector. “We soon realised there was an urgent need for bespoke market intelligence services and switched our focus to help clients track and interpret developments and information about the payments and fintech sectors to both inform and validate their strategic decision-making process,” explains Andrew. 

Andrew’s commitment to these sectors and passion for providing clients with customised and current solutions is reflected in his involvement in various industry associations, along with his establishment of PaymentsAfrika.com, a news portal for payments professionals.
